Ahmed al-Sharaa held his first press conference since taking power, following the fall of the Assad regime. He appeared alongside Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in Damascus, who reinforced Turkiye's promise to help with the political transition and rebuild the war-torn country.
