Gaza ceasefire: Israel hands over bodies of 45 Palestinians to the Red Cross
Israel has handed over the first group of bodies of deceased Palestinians to the Red Cross as part of the first phase of the ceasefire deal with Hamas. At least 45 bodies have been taken to the Gaza Strip -- and are now at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis. This follows Monday's pivotal exchange that saw the release of all living Israeli captives and nearly two thousand Palestinian prisoners. Israel holds hundreds of bodies of Palestinians both from Gaza and the Occupied West Bank. Al Jazeera’s Tareq Abu Azzoum reports from Deir el-Balah in central Gaza.
